Process models and costs

The process models of cement production integrated with the ABSALT system will be developed. Based on the process modelling the technical performance will be evaluated. The overall process costs together with the O&M costs are used to calculate the annual cash flow and the breakeven selling price of the cement production at different financial options. The WP will also carry out the high-level design of a small-scale pilot plant unit.  The specific designs will be based on ECLIPSE simulations on the full-scale plants and testing results. It would demonstrate heat integration of the process and CO₂ extraction.
